Each year, the Junior Service League of Independence supports efforts of area non-profits through our Community Grants Program. We are proud of our tradition of giving to the community, not only in service, but in resources. Throughout our more than 70 years, we have been a dynamic force in Eastern Jackson County, contributing to numerous agencies. It is our practice to give financial support to assist projects or programs that will benefit people in Eastern Jackson County.
Junior Service League is now a partner with the Truman Heartland Community Foundation in funding grants. This eliminates the need for duplicate applications and expands funding possibilities for JSL. Please use the Truman Heartland Community Foundation annual grant process at www.thcf.org. For additional questions, contact JSL at 816-461-0027.
