JSL of Independence follows the recommended COVID-19 Guidelines provided by Jackson County and the CDC. The Clubhouse is equipped with COVID-19 Safety Signage. Social Distancing Protocols are being implemented, the maximum capacity for events has been limited, and the CDC Guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting are being followed. It is important members as well and renters understand that the COVID-19 emergency and the response to the emergency is changing rapidly. JSL's top priority is the health and safety of our members, renters, and the community.
Membership in Junior Service League is an involvement in a program of community leadership and an opening to opportunities of both service to others and personal growth.Through an organization such as Junior Service League, varying talents and experiences are brought into strong focus on all types of community needs.
Junior Service League hosts many exciting programs, special events and fundraisers annually to support our community projects and our partnered agencies. Our beautiful clubhouse is often the site of our events and is available for rent.
The Junior League continually engages our members in volunteer service that supports our community. Our service projects are the centerpiece of our organization and continues to be the most valuable and rewarding part of membership.
