21 Jan 2019 Bess Wallace Truman Scholarship Applications Due February 1
The Bess Wallace Truman Scholarship was created by Junior Service League of Independence to honor the memory of First Lady of the United States, Bess Wallace Truman, who was active in many community service organizations in Independence.
This scholarship is awarded each year to an outstanding female student from Independence who, through her scholastic ability as well as civic and community service, best emulates the model set by Mrs. Truman.
Junior Service League has partnered with the Truman Heartland Community Foundation for the Bess Wallace Truman Scholarship.
